When does the swim team season start?
Swim team season generally starts a few days after school lets out through the month of July.
Where do practices take place?
At Four Seasons Community Park
What time are the practices?
11 years old & up 10 am-11 am
10 years old & under 11 am to 12 pm
Guppies Practice Tuesdays & Fridays from 10 am-11 am.
Does it cost anything to join the swim team?
There is a fee for all swimmers to participated.
Kids who live in a neighborhood with no pool may join the swim team for an additional cost.
You may also want to purchase a team suit, goggles, and swim cap, but it is not mandatory.
If we don't join the Four Seasons Community Association, can we still join the swim team?
No. If you live in Four Seasons, your family must pay their association dues if you would like to join the swim team. If you need to arrange a payment schedule for either your dues or swim team fees, please contact your trustee.
Can non-residents join the team?
Yes, but there is a fee for participation and facility usage.

The swim team uses the TeamSnap App to communicate with team members. The app has all swim team information including locations, volunteer opportunities, swim clinics, and team events.
Once registered you will receive an invite to the team via email.

Team Suit

Chagrin Relays
This is an invitational swimming event held at Chagrin Falls Outdoor Pool. This competitive event is an all-day and optional activity that has an additional cost. This is a full-day commitment and a fun experience for the children and parents.

Volunteers
We ask that parents volunteer approximately 5 times a season. We need help with running Hot Diggity Dog, timers, judges, and scorers during meets, timers during time trials. The TeamSnap App. is used for volunteer sign-ups.
New this year–We are looking for a parent to organize and manage the volunteers needed for the season. These include scorers, timers, line judges for meets, and Hot Diggity Dog coverage. This person’s effort would satisfy their full volunteer requirement.

Weekly Fundraiser
The swimmers love to eat down at the lake with their team. Every Tuesday & Friday swimmers have the opportunity to purchase hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, candy, and more from 11 am- 1 pm.

Extended Privileges
Non-residents are permitted to join the swim team if they do not live in a community that has their own swim team. Non-resident Four Seasons Swim Team members are allowed to swim in the lake during practice hours ONLY. Once practice is completed you are expected to leave the park property.
If you are interested in EXTENDING YOUR PRIVILEGES and using the facilities during the weekdays, a nominal contribution & signed form must be completed and submitted to the swim team manager. This fee is reviewed and determined each year at the community's annual meeting. The cost be provided to outside individuals at the swim team parent meeting in May.

Team Events
HOME MEETS: swimmer will play games and have bonfires after home meets (weather permitting).
AWAY MEETS: Coaches will pick a restaurant for the team to have ice cream together.
INTERSQUAD MEET: Every year we hold an inter-squad meet. The team is divided into two teams: the blue & orange teams. The coaches pick a fun theme and they do fun relays/events.
DESERT MEET: You bring a dessert to share with the other team.
AWARD BONDFIRE: At the end of the season we have a party.
FUN FRIDAYS: The coaches will have fun Fridays where they will do fun non-swimming activities.

Signs available at the community park ask the coaches or email swim team if you are interested in purchasing one.
2024 Swim Season Information
Summer Swimming Schedule
Swim Team begins Monday, June 3rd at 10:00 am for ALL swimmers including guppies. This is our team-building day filled with games, tie-dyeing shirts and fun activities. The tie-dye shirt with the white turtle logo is available for purchase in the gear store. Have swimmers bring tennis shoes, suit, towel and water bottle. Lunch will be provided for the swimmers. Official Swim Team Practice begins Tuesday, June 4th.
Monday - Fridays, June 4th - July 26th
Traditional Practice Times:
11 & older swimmers 10:00 -11:00 am
10 & under swimmers 11:00 - 12:00 pm
Guppy Practices:
Tuesdays & Fridays 11:00 - 12:00 pm
Traditional Swim Team Cost:
Resident: $120 per swimmer
Non-resident: $ 140 per swimmer
Guppy Cost:
Resident: $80 per swimmer
Non-resident: $90 per swimmer
(An adult needs to stay with a guppy swimmer, in the lake area, during practice times)
Registration & Payment is due by May 1st, 2024.
The registration and payment process has changed. You are required to register and make payment at the same time. Please register each swimmer individually; when paying please include all the swimmers names on check or in the comment section of Venmo. You are able to register and pay for the 2024 swim session at anytime before the May 1st deadline.
After May 1st, a $10 late registration fee will be applied per swimmer. Please use email below to contact swim meet manager to register your swimmer. The registration & payment button will lock after May 1st.
Once you register you will receive an email from teamSNAP. Please accept the invitation to join the team. teamSnap houses ALL the team information and scheduling, including the parent meeting date prior to the start of the season. Please fill out your swimmer age, birthday and contact information.
